Let’s Make Cards!
Okay, let’s get started making the 4 cards that go inside the tin!
Start by cutting 4 pieces of cardstock (2 Sherbet and 2 Hershey) 5 ¼ x 8 ½ .
Use a bone folder to score each piece down the middle. Fold the cards in half to make 4- 5 ¼ x 4 ¼ sized cards.

Use the corner rounder to round all 4 sides of the folded cards. Keep the cards folded together as you round each corner.

Next, use the paper trimmer to cut a 5 x 4 piece of patterned paper from the four patterned papers. You will end up with 4 differently patterned pieces.
Use the corner rounder to round each corner of these pieces.
Layer each piece of patterned paper on the front of a cardstock card.
Ink the edges of the cards with the sherbet cardstock with the Brown ink pad.
You may omit this step if you wish, but I used my sewing machine to stitch around the edges of each card.

Now you add your ribbon of you choice to the cards, by tying a bow around the front panel of the cards.
Next, I added cardstock stickers on top of the ribbon on the cards. On one card I cut a small strip of Sherbet cardstock and added a rub on for the sentiment.
I finished my cards by adding felt flowers, brads, flowered buttons, and stick pins to each.
Now Let’s Make the Tin!
Start with a CD sized tin like this.
Next, trace around the top of the tin on the reverse side of your chosen patterned paper.
Cut it out inside of the line you traced so it is a bit smaller than the top.

Apply glue dots to the top of the tin, then carefully position the patterned paper on top. Use scissors to trim away any paper that may be overlapping the edges of the tin.*I chose to sew around the edges of my paper here, but you don’t have to.
Cut 2-1/4 strips of patterned paper to cover the bottom edge of the tin. Use wet adhesive to attach it to the tin. You may need to trim the excess paper from the tin.

Now you add the ribbon to the tin top. Using only the top of the tin, turn it so you are working with the inside cover. Glue ribbon to the inside of the top. Let it dry.
After your ribbon is dry, turn the tin top over to finish embellishing it.

Tie your ribbon in a bow. I wanted to make my tin look like one of the cards inside, so I chose to add a cardstock sticker, flower buttons and a pin to the cover just as I did with one of the cards.
And there you have it! A beautiful gift set of gift cards!
