Think Spring by Renae Clark!

Think Spring Door Hanger
Are you ready for Spring? If so, this door hanger is the perfect decoration for your front door to tell the world that you are ready!

Here’s what you’ll need to complete this project:
Wood door hanger (Available at your local scrap or craft stores)
Adhesive
Pop Dots
Pencil
Craft Knife
12 inch ruler
Moxxie Easter Trail Paper (1 sheet)
Moxxie Chickadee Paper (1 sheet)
Moxxie Easter Doodle cardstock stickers
Moxxie Easter Doodle rubons
Pink, Purple and Yellow cardstock
1 yard sheer ribbon (2 inch wide)
Diamond glitter stickles by Ranger
White paper frills (or something similar)
Quickutz scalloped circles (a scalloped circle punch or just plain circles will do just fine if you do not have access to a scalloped circle system)

Let’s get started:
To get started we will cover the entire door hanger using the reverse side of the Chickadee paper.
1. Adhere the wood door hanger to the front side of the Chickadee Paper (as shown in the photo). The reverse side of the paper will be used for this project.
2. Using your craft knife, trim the inside circle first, and then the outside edge.
3. Run a piece of sandpaper around the edges to catch any excess paper.
4. Cut 1 piece of Easter Trail paper at 3 ½ x 4 inches and adhere to top as shown. Be sure to display the reverse side of paper. Cut two strips of Doodlebug paper frills and adhere at the top and bottom of the Easter Trail paper.
Adding flower pieces and title.
1. I used the Creative Memories cutting system to create the circles used for the flower pieces. You can also use punches.
2. After your circles are punched or cut, place flower rubons on white circles3. Mat white flower circles onto larger purple circle4. Finally, using a scalloped circle punch or cutting system, create 3 scalloped pieces to use as the base.
5. Position scalloped flower pieces on the door hanger as shown in final project.
6. Place the “Think Spring” sticker on pop dots and position at an angle as shown.

Finishing Touches:
1. Wrap sheer ribbon around the door hanger and create a large bow.
2. I placed a coordinating die cut behind the bow. The die cut was made using a Quickutz design, however, something similar would work just as well.
3. To add sparkle to this project, I used diamond stickles to the flower centers on the rubon flowers and the sticker flowers. See close up image for the fun effect this creates to your project.
This is a simple project that can make a great gift for your favorite person or for yourself!
