Let’s get started.

The cover page of this album has 2 layers.

Step one is to use an Xacto knife to cut out the paper to fit on the chipboard album.
(Another option would be to trace around the album then use scissors to cut out the paper.)
Next cut out the paper to fit the heart that is the top layer of the cover.
Adhere the ribbon about 1/3 of the way from the top of the heart.

To make the title I used a rolodex card (or in this case mine was chipboard) as the base.
I cut out a piece of felt to cover all but the heart of the rolodex card.

Before adhering the felt, add the rub-on heart.
Now cut out a piece of white paper to adhere your title to.

Mine was about 3.5” x 1.5” After placing the left bracket on the cardstock, start adding your letter stickers, paying careful attention to the size of the letters so that the “love” rub-on can be added. I placed the largest letters on the ends and used smaller letters (about 1/2 the size) for the middle. Now add the “love” rub-on and then place the heart tag sticker over the “o” in love. Add the brad, trim off the ends around the brackets, and adhere to the felt.

I found that dry adhesive worked better than wet when adhering to the felt.

Finally, attach your rolodex card to the top layer of your cover page.

Page two also involves cutting out the patterned paper to fit the shape of the album.
The “Mad About You” paper was perfect for journaling.

The lines on this will make my hand-journaling much neater!

I added a small photo along with a tab sticker, used as an arrow, then added a label that spelled out “Max”.

The remaining pages were all painted with black acrylic paint.

Once those dry, you can finish the album rather quickly.

NOTE – I adhered the photos then trimmed around the edges to match the shape of the album.

Page three uses a red photo corner sticker, two rub-ons, and a heart that was cut out of the “Bliss” paper.

Adhere the sticker to the top right corner then apply the rub-on directly on top of the sticker and photo.

Do the same with the heart rub-on then adhere the tiny cut out heart.

To make page four you will need to cut a strip measuring approximately 5 in long x 1/2 in wide from the “True Love” paper.
Adhere that over the top of the photo then adhere the “sweetheart” sticker vertically from the left end of the paper.

I rounded the corners of the paper before adhering.

Finally, cut out 3 more hearts from the “Bliss” paper and adhere.

Page five is super simple.

Place the large “I Love You” circle sticker over the focal point of the photo, trim edges then add felt embellishments.

The next photo I matted using the “Mad About You” paper.

After adding a punched heart, I added the puppy’s name with alphabet stickers and underlined it with an arrow rub-on.

The finishing touches were two felt hearts.
Page six is another simple page.
Tuck the left corner of the photo underneath the dotted circle sticker while the rest of the photo stays on top.

Adhere the photo corner then add a punched heart.

Although I used a chipboard heart that I covered with patterned paper.

The back page uses “Mad About You” paper.

I followed the curves of the hearts with my scissors and ended up with a pretty wave.
Adhere to the back page and you could add a rub-on or two if you wanted.

Add a jump ring and ribbons and voila, you have completed an album!
