It's a Bowling Party!! by Janet Ball

Let's have a Bowling Party!!!
Invitation:
Supplies needed:
  • BOR-619, Perfect Game
  • BOR-621, Score!
  • Orange Cardstock
  • Admit One Ticket
  • Journaling Pen
  • You're Invited stamp (or use computer)
Cut card using the cricut celebration cartridge, size =5.
Note: make sure you do not use the end with the bowling pins on it.  Save the square cutout.  Use cutout to trace and cut orange card stock. Stamp or print "you're invited".  Outline everything with thick end of journaling pen.  See figure #1.

Choose image to be in the cutout are of the card.  Cut out leaving extra so you can adhere.  Adhere to inside of card trimming any extra with your craft knife.  See figures #2 & #3.

Adhere left over square with bowling pin/ball face up in the lower left corner.  Staple ticket to orange cutout and adhere to upper right corner of card. Outline card with thick end of journaling pen to finish.  See photo at top.


Thanks notecard:


Supplies needed:

  • BOR-620, Game Gear
  • BOR-621, Score!
  • BOR-385, League Rub-on
  • BOR-278, CS sticker
  • Olive green CS
  • 2 orange and 1 blue brad to match colors
  • black journaling pen
  • Mickey font Cricut Cartridge

 Instructions:

Cut 3 ½” x 7 ½” rectangle from olive cs and outline with thick end of journaling pen.  Using the Ticket end cap option of the Mickey font cartridge, cut THANKS from Score! (BOR-621) at 1 ½”.  Save the letter A.  Use the repeat last button and shadow option to cut the stripe background of the ticket.  See figure #1.

Outline "Thanks" and the top ticket portion.  See figure #2.

Adhere "THANKS" to the shadowed background.  Use the saved "A" to fill the triangle of the A.  Adhere to olive cs. Apply rub-ons, stickers, and brads.  Outline notecard with thick end of journaling pen. See photo at top for finished project.


Layout:
Supplies needed:

  • BOR-384, Bowling Party Rub-on
  • BOR-278, CS Sticker
  • Olive Green Cardstock
  • Blue Cardstock
  • Black journaling pen
Instructions:
Cut 3 mats: 1-4.5x6.5 and 2 3.5x5.5 out of blue card stock.  Cut 2 1.5" strips of the bowling bag paper.  Cut a 3.5" section out of one strip of bowling bag strips.  Cut a 2 3/8" strip from the strip paper.  Outline everything with the thick end of a journaling pen.  Adhere stripe paper to the olive card stock first, then the 12" bowling bag strip.  Adhere the 3.5" strip of bowling bag paper to the top making sure you leave enough room for the rub-on title.  Add mats and card stock stickers.  Trim when necessary.


Party Banner:
Supplies needed:
  • BOR-619, Perfect Game
  • BOR-385, League Rub-on
  • BOR-801, Bowl-O-rama buttons
  • Orange Cardstock
  • Blue Cardstock
  • 4 large brown brads
  • White string
  • Journaling Pen
  • Celebration Cricut Cartridge
  • Micky font cricut cartridge
Cut banner background out of orange cardstock using the cricut celebration cartridge, size =5.5".  Cut the Perfect game paper with banner selected.  Outline banner piece with thick end of journaling pen.

Adhere banner piece to shadow background.  Now cut PARTY using the Micky font at 2.5".  Outline letters with the thick end of the journaling pen.  
Apply various Bowl-O-Rama rub-ons to the letters then adhere to the banner pieces.  Thread string through the orange buttons, then thread the string through the end holes of the banner.  Use glue dots to keep the button in place.  Connect the banner together with the brads and hang!  See photo at top for finished project.


Favor Bag:
Supplies Needed:
  • BOR-620, Game Gear
  • BOR-621, Score!
  • BOR-385, League Rub-on
  • BOR-801, Bowl-O-rama buttons
  • Blue Cardstock
  • Black fiber/string
  • Favor bag (I chose white)
Instructions:
Cut strike out from Score! paper.  Cut a 2.5" strip from the stripe side of Game Gear.

Adhere strip of striped paper to the blue cardstock and trim leaving approximately 1/2" border on the sides.  Adhere to the center of the favor bag and trim excess.  Cut out 2 bowling bags and a bowling ball from the Game Gear paper.

Write "THANKS" on the olive bowling bag.  Adhere bowling ball to the top of bag and adhere blue bowling bag to bag.  Add an extra strip of paper to the bag to stabilize all the pieces.  Tie to favor back using black string. Add Strike cutout with pop dots.  See photo for finished project.
