I wanted to create a remembrance box for my daugher Alyssa of all the wonderful things that are at the farm where she rides horses each week. I made a box so that she could keep it in her room and take out the cards whenever she felt like she wanted to look at photos of the horses.

Step 1: You need to have a box template. I used the Coluzzle system with the cutting mat and swivel knife to make my box.
Step 2: I used the Moxxie Filly cowgirl papers to make this box. Make sure to follow the directions for your template. You can use a scoring tool to do the fold parts of the box. After the box is cut, you are ready to begin assembling!Step 3: Using scrapbooking sticky tape, I adhered all the needed sides of the box. After everything was adhered, I used a paintbrush and Mod Podge to cover the entire outside of the box. I did this because I want the box to last and also be sturdy for little hands. Allow the box to dry 5-10 minutes for each actual side to ensure drying.Step 4: Once the box is completely dry, you can begin decorating it. I used Moxxie Filly cardstock stickers, Moxxie Filly Rub-ons, and Moxxie Filly buttons.Step 5: Taking the box card template, you will create small cards that will go into the box as keepsakes. I chose to make 12 cards. You can make how ever many you wish for your project. I used all of the Moxxie Filly paper collection for the cards. Step 6: After the cards have been made, you can decorate them to your liking. I used photos that were from Alyssa's trip to the horse farm. Then I decorated each card using Moxxie Filly cardstock stickers, rub-ons, and buttons.
Step 7: All of the photos are sized 2.1 x 2.8. I used 12 photos, one for each card. This project would also make a great gift for the grandparents using your family photos!

Clipboard Wallhanging by Elizabeth Carney!

Zoo Checklist Clipboard
Supplies Needed:
Any Clipboard
Adhesive
Scrapbooking Sticky tape
Moxxie Zoo Fun Rub-ons
Moxxie Zoo Fun cardstock stickers
Moxxie Zoo Fun Buttons
Moxxie Zoo Fun Patterned Papers
Yellow Cardstock
Pop Dots
1-inch ribbons of your choice
Circle Template
Scissors
I wanted to create a cool wall hanging for my friend's sons' room. I decided to use photos of their time at the zoo since they had so much fun!
Let's get started!
Step 1: I adhered the Moxxie Zoo Fun animal adventure papers using adhesive to the clipboard itself. I angled it just a tad to give the effect.

Step 2: I cut using scissors the letters "ZOO" out of the Moxxie Zoo Fun A Day at the Zoo papers. I backed them with adhesive onto the yellow cardstock and then cut the letters out using scissors. After they were cut, I used pop dots to adhere them to the background paper.

Step 3: After the Moxxie papers are adhered, I decided to add buttons all around the clipboard for a fun effect. To do this, I used scrapbooking sticky tape. I did the outside of the clipboard to decorate with the Moxxie Zoo Fun buttons. I did not want to do the entire clipboard with buttons, so I did around certain edges.Step 4: As I was adding the buttons, I added the Zoo Fun cardstock stickers on either side of the clipboard for balance.Step 5: To fill in the gaps of the clipboard, I added elements from the Zoo Fun Gone Wild papers. I used a circle template and cut around the circles on the page. I then adhered them to the clipboard using scrapbooking sticky tape. I added them to the upper left hand corner of the clipboard.Step 6: The next thing I did was add photos of the boys at the zoo using scrapbooking sticky tape. The photo sizes are 3x5; 2.8x3.Step 7: Using the Moxxie Zoo Fun cardstock stickers, I added the photo corners on the right and left lower side of the papers to tie in with everything else.

Step 8: After all of this is adhered, I added ribbon to the top of the clipboard. Using an inch of each color, I just added them on the clipboard by tying them.

The clipboard is ready to hang on the wall or sit on an easel!

Howdy Cowboy!

Here is a fun new class from Sue Fields using our new Buckaroo collection!

Cowboy Frame Up!

Supplies:

Frame or plaque in rectangular shape
acrylic paint
chipboard sheet
scissors
exacto knife
small clothes pin
1 yd ribbon
Moxxie's Buckaroo Paper
Moxxie's Buckaroo Buttons

Step 1: The first step is choosing the frame you want to use. I chose a rectangular frame. You will use acrylic paint to paint the inside edges and outside of frame. Allow this to dry thoroughly.
Once the paint has dried, measure the inside of the frame so that you can cut the paper to fit inside. Once you have cut the paper to the inside frame dimension, you can adhere it using adhesive.

Step 2: You will need a piece of chipboard or cardboard. Cut out a boot shape from the chipboard and the patterned paper from the Buckaroo collection. I used a foam template, but you could try freehanding it. My boot has the 2 stars cut out of the top. Save these for future use!
Back the patterned paper boot with the chipboard boot. This will give the boot more stability on the frame. You can see in the photo that there are patterned stars in the boots. Cut squares of the paper and attach them behind the cut out. Yes, it is cheating, but who will know?

Step 3: Before attaching the boot to the frame, cut out the boot embellishments. Use an exacto knife to cut the paper to fit on the star. I used an open star because I thought it resembled spurs but any chipboard star will do.

Adhere the paper to the chipboard and move onto cutting the fringe accent.

You will need a strip of paper approximately 1 inch by 2 1/4 inches long. Begin cutting in from the bottom edge to about 3/4 of the way to the top. Move over slightly as you cut so that the fringe strips are thin. Curl the ends by slightly bending them upwards but not folding them.

Adhere the fringe to the boot and warp it around the edge (front) of the boot for a more dimensional look.

Attach the star and add the button on the top right corner of the fringe. Once the boot has been completely embellished, place the boot at an angle and adhere to the frame with adhesive.

Step 4: Take the stars that were previously cut from the top of the boots and affix them to the top of the frame.

Add buttons to the stars and the top and bottom of the frame as well.

Paint a small clothes pin to match the frame. Once that dries, adhere it to the top left side of the frame.

Add ribbons to the back of the frame so that you can hang it up.

You can use the clothes pin to clip a photograph like I did or just post a little "reminder" note to it!
