I wanted to create a remembrance box for my daugher Alyssa of all the wonderful things that are at the farm where she rides horses each week. I made a box so that she could keep it in her room and take out the cards whenever she felt like she wanted to look at photos of the horses.

Step 1: You need to have a box template. I used the Coluzzle system with the cutting mat and swivel knife to make my box.
Step 2: I used the Moxxie Filly cowgirl papers to make this box. Make sure to follow the directions for your template. You can use a scoring tool to do the fold parts of the box. After the box is cut, you are ready to begin assembling!Step 3: Using scrapbooking sticky tape, I adhered all the needed sides of the box. After everything was adhered, I used a paintbrush and Mod Podge to cover the entire outside of the box. I did this because I want the box to last and also be sturdy for little hands. Allow the box to dry 5-10 minutes for each actual side to ensure drying.Step 4: Once the box is completely dry, you can begin decorating it. I used Moxxie Filly cardstock stickers, Moxxie Filly Rub-ons, and Moxxie Filly buttons.Step 5: Taking the box card template, you will create small cards that will go into the box as keepsakes. I chose to make 12 cards. You can make how ever many you wish for your project. I used all of the Moxxie Filly paper collection for the cards. Step 6: After the cards have been made, you can decorate them to your liking. I used photos that were from Alyssa's trip to the horse farm. Then I decorated each card using Moxxie Filly cardstock stickers, rub-ons, and buttons.
Step 7: All of the photos are sized 2.1 x 2.8. I used 12 photos, one for each card. This project would also make a great gift for the grandparents using your family photos!
